1-Day Guided Boston Bus Tour

The day begins with a tour in historic Beantown. So…why is it called “Beantown?” Well… One theory is that Massachusetts has long been noted for its baked beans, a tradition dating back to her Native American roots. However, in the late 1600s, the area was synonymous with a very different product - rum. Take the tour to learn more! First stop, Cambridge! Along the way, you will see the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (high-tech campus), Harvard University – where you’ll have a glimpse at the historic Harvard Yard as we drive through Harvard Square in route to Lexington / Lexington Battle Green - the historic town where the American Revolutionary War began.Experience Battle Road Trail in Concord, which was part of Paul Revere’s ride to warn the Minutemen about the oncoming British troops. You will also see the homes of Louisa May Alcott, author of the novel Little Women, and essayist and poet Ralph Waldo Emerson. We will stop by the Old North Bridge – which is the historic site in the Battle of Concord (the first day of battle in the Revolutionary War).Once we’re back in downtown Boston, we will visit Faneuil Hall Marketplace - also known as Quincy Market – where you will buy lunch and explore this historic tourist mall for 1.5 hours. After this stop, we will take a leisurely drive through the Beacon Hill and West End neighborhoods, where you will see the New England Aquarium - one of Boston’s premier attractions, beautiful Seaport District, and the famous King Street - where the Boston Massacre occurred.Last stop will be the majestic USS Constitution - the world’s oldest commissioned warship afloat and America’s Ship of State.Itinerary:Cambridge, MA:Harvard University (Stop)Paul Revere’s Ride (Drive by)Belmont, Boston (Drive by)Lexington, MA:Lexington Common National Historic Site (Stop)Concord, MA:The Wayside Home of Authors (Drive by)Louisa May Alcott's Orchard House (Stop - outside only)Ralph Waldo Emerson House (Drive by)Concord River Bridge (Drive by)Boston, MA (2-Hour Guided Tour of Boston):Faneuil Hall Marketplace (Stop/Lunch/Shopping) Beacon Hill & West End Neighborhoods (Drive-through)New England Aquarium (Drive by)Seaport District (Drive by)Famous King Street (Drive by)USS Constitution Museum (45-Minute Stop)
